Hanshin Gongyeong Secures Consecutive Urban Renewal Projects in Jeonju and Anyang

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Noh Kyung-jo] Hanshin Engineering & Construction announced on the 2nd that it consecutively won contracts last month for the Garojutaek Maintenance Project in Taepyeong-dong, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, and the Daedong Apartment Reconstruction Maintenance Project in Anyang-dong, Manan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The Taepyeong-dong Garojutaek Maintenance Project involves constructing a total of 270 apartment units with exclusive areas of 84㎡ A and B, ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, along with 54 officetel units of 102㎡ and 103㎡, and ancillary welfare facilities on the site at 44-10 Taepyeong-dong. The contract amount is 82.9 billion KRW, and the construction period is 33 months.
The Daedong Apartment Reconstruction in Anyang-dong consists of building 222 units and ancillary welfare facilities from 3 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, composed of small to medium-sized types with exclusive areas of 49㎡, 59㎡, 74㎡, and 84㎡. The contract amount is 56 billion KRW, and the construction period is 35 months. Demolition is scheduled to be completed by February next year, with construction starting in March.
With this, Hanshin Engineering & Construction has recorded a total contract amount of 548.1 billion KRW from nine small-scale maintenance projects in the metropolitan area and provinces this year.

A Hanshin Engineering & Construction official said, "The recent contract wins in Jeonju and Anyang are the result of offering the best project conditions based on abundant financial resources and construction capabilities. This year, we are seeing good results in maintenance projects nationwide, including the metropolitan area, Busan, and Daegu. We will continue to focus our capabilities and pursue further contract wins."

Meanwhile, Hanshin Engineering & Construction has achieved a total contract amount of 672.2 billion KRW this year in medium to large-scale new construction and civil engineering works. The total new contract amount reaches approximately 1.22 trillion KRW.
