‘Saeneul’ is a pure Korean word meaning ‘always new,’ expressing the hope that call center employees can forget their tiring day and always have a fresh and healthy mind at the ‘Saeneul Rest Area.’
At the ‘Saeneul Rest Area,’ visually impaired massage therapists provide professional manual therapy services. To this end, Hanwha Life has hired a total of 12 severely visually impaired massage therapists (6 in Seoul, 2 in Daejeon, and 4 in Busan).
The establishment of the ‘Saeneul Rest Area’ was promoted as part of differentiated welfare services for call center employees, who are representative emotional labor workers.
At the opening ceremony of the ‘Saeneul Rest Area’ that day, not only call center employees but also the newly hired visually impaired massage therapists attended and demonstrated massages for the employees.
