Exploring the Global Expansion of K-Content IP
Ministry of Culture and Korea Creative Content Agency Host 'Content IP Industry Expo' at COEX
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency will hold the 'Content IP Industry Exhibition' at COEX, Seoul from the 10th to the 12th. This is an IP business event covering all fields of K-content. Under the theme of 'Infinite Expansion of Content IP,' it connects stakeholders and explores the development potential of K-content.
This year, about 180 content companies including character, game, broadcasting, music, and webtoon sectors, along with approximately 150 domestic and international buyers, will participate. Through various programs such as exhibition and consultation booths, business briefings, business matching, financial consulting, bootcamp demo day, and legal seminars, participants will interact and seek business expansion.
The Korea Creative Content Agency will present an IP activation policy roadmap and new business models through forums and conferences. Speakers include David Maisel, the founding chairman of Marvel Studios; Scott Manson, CEO of HYBE America Business Solutions; film director Kang Yoon-sung; Shim Jun-kyung, CEO of YLAB; Professor Park Ki-soo of Hanyang University; Director Lee Seung-yong of HappyUp; Vice President Lee Seung-gyu of The Pinkfong Company; Vice President Lee Seong-ha of Krafton; Director Yoon Hee-kyung of RaemongRaein; and Professor Choi Sun-young of Yonsei University.

Cho Hyun-rae, president of the Korea Creative Content Agency, said, "The event was planned to respond to the changing industrial landscape and value chain centered on content IP," adding, "We hope this will be an opportunity for excellent domestic IPs to strengthen their global competitiveness."
