In this competition, 'Eomamama,' currently the strongest short-distance horse in Korea, participated and was expected to win.
When the starting gate opened, 'Eomamama' quickly took the lead, but shortly after, 'Daehan Jilju' ran ahead, overtaking 'Eomamama' to take first place. 'Eomamama' closely pursued behind, but the rankings did not change until they turned the 4th corner and ran down the straight track.
Until the very end, the competition between 'Eomamama' and 'Daehan Jilju' continued, and at a thrilling distance less than 50 meters from the finish line, 'Eomamama' succeeded in reclaiming the lead. With just a head difference from 2nd place 'Daehan Jilju,' 'Eomamama' achieved a dramatic come-from-behind victory. The race record was 1 minute 24.3 seconds.
