View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] As the COVID-19 outbreak is rebounding, by 9 PM on the 30th, there were over 18,000 new confirmed cases nationwide.
According to Seoul Metropolitan Government and other local governments, as of 9 PM on this day, 18,055 people tested positive for COVID-19 across 17 cities and provinces nationwide.
Since it is Sunday, the number of diagnostic tests decreased, resulting in 15,212 fewer cases compared to the same time the previous day (33,267), but 4,231 more than a week ago on the 23rd (13,824). Compared to two weeks ago on the 16th (10,633), the number increased by 7,422. This is the highest number in six weeks since last month’s 18th (18,664) in the Sunday 9 PM interim tally.
