Urgent Decision to Cancel Event Amid Mourning Atmosphere for Itaewon Tragedy

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Legoland Korea Resort in Chuncheon, which was hosting a Halloween party, announced on the 30th that it has decided to cancel all related events to participate in the mourning for the victims of the Seoul Itaewon crowd crush disaster.
After the Itaewon disaster occurred, Legoland removed advertisements and notices related to the event posted online and held an emergency meeting to decide to cancel the events within the theme park.
A Legoland official stated, "In light of the national mourning atmosphere regarding the Itaewon disaster, we urgently decided to cancel the Halloween event," and added, "We ask for the understanding of our visitors."

Legoland had planned to hold the 'Halloween Monster Party' until the 31st of this month to celebrate its first Halloween since opening in May, setting up event spaces in each zone with costume contests and dancer performances scheduled to continue.
