Gwangyang Economic Zone Authority Conducts Investment Attraction Activities at International Advanced Materials Convergence Technology Expo
Installation and Operation of PR Exhibition Hall, Investment Consultations for Domestic and Foreign Metal, Chemical, and Secondary Battery Companies
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] The Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Song Sang-rak, hereinafter GFEZ) announced that it participated in the '10th International Advanced Materials and Convergence Technology Exhibition (INTRA 2022)' held at COEX, Seoul from October 26 to 28, promoting the GFEZ investment environment and conducting corporate attraction activities.
This exhibition is the only advanced materials specialized exhibition in Korea, jointly hosted and organized by the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, Korea Carbon Industry Promotion Agency, and Korea Ceramic Federation. This year, over 180 companies and institutions from 10 countries in advanced materials fields such as metals, chemicals, ceramics, carbon, nano, secondary batteries, and displays participated, showcasing a total of more than 3,000 exhibits and technologies.
The GFEZ set up and operated a promotional exhibition hall for the Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone, focusing on promoting the excellent conditions and investment environment of GFEZ sites such as Yulchon, Hwanggeum, and Sepung Industrial Complexes to domestic and international materials, parts, and equipment companies and industry officials visiting the exhibition, and conducted separate consultations.
Song Sang-rak, Commissioner of GFEZ, said, “Based on strengths in materials fields such as chemicals, steel, and secondary batteries, we will promote the industrial environment of GFEZ, which is emerging as a core hub for the advanced materials industry, and strive to increase recognition as the optimal investment destination to attract more excellent companies.”
