Shinhan Card 'Shinhan Play' Wins IDEA 2022 Grand Prize
Winner of the Prestigious IDEA 2022 Service Design Award
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Shinhan Card (CEO Lim Young-jin) announced on the 28th that its application 'Shinhan pLay' received the grand prize in the service design category at the globally prestigious design award IDEA 2022.
Shinhan Card stated that it was recognized for implementing financial services such as payment, remittance, asset management, and product recommendations, along with customized lifestyle content for customers, through elegant design and customer-friendly UI/UX.
In particular, the company explained that it was highly evaluated for securing industry-leading payment accessibility and convenience by incorporating features like 'Shake & Slide,' which allows payments by shaking the smartphone or using the home screen edge panel, and 'Easy Mode' for senior customers, as well as applying a simple design that enables users to grasp complex financial and lifestyle information at a glance.
IDEA is an international design award hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America and is considered one of the world's top three design awards alongside Germany's Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award. Shinhan pLay also received the grand prize in the financial app service design category at the 'iF Design Award 2022' last May.
