View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Lotte Mart announced on the 28th that it has started recruiting members for the winter semester at 59 cultural centers nationwide.
This winter semester, in addition to courses suitable for the year-end and New Year period, Saturday one-day special lectures that the whole family can enjoy together have been strengthened.
First, to customers planning a special home party for the year-end and New Year, cooking classes using ingredients from food brands easily found in large marts will be introduced. Customers can learn simple home party menus using Sajo’s ‘Anshim Farm’, as well as sandwiches, musubi, and pizza recipes made with the Swedish smoked cod roe sauce ‘Kalles’ together with their children.
For the New Year, a class is also prepared to make soup dishes such as rice cake soup for Lunar New Year, dumpling hot pot, and army stew using Jeongseok Food’s ‘Savory Beef Bone Broth’. In addition, a premium pasta class featuring Cheongjeongwon’s ‘World Noodle Series’ and the newly released ‘Tomato Spaghetti Sauce Winter Edition’ will be offered.
Classes for parents who have questions or concerns about their children’s education before admission or a new semester are also prepared. Online lectures by Director Noh Gyusik of Yonsei Hue Mental Health Clinic, who has appeared on numerous broadcasts such as ‘Live Parents 60 Minutes’ and ‘Gifted Discovery Team’, will be opened. The lectures will include methods to develop children’s brain potential and improve self-directed abilities, along with a Q&A session.
Various events will also be presented. At all Lotte Mart stores, on December 23 and 24, children customers who visit the cultural center wearing Santa hats or clothing/items in red, green, or other Christmas-themed colors will have the chance to participate in the ‘Christmas Rocky Day Gift Drawing Event’. For adult customers, from January 2 to January 7 next year, by writing down the courses they want to take in the spring semester and entering the event, two winners per store will be drawn to receive free course benefits in the ‘New Year Bucket List Event’.
