[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] YouTuber Haneul has filed a lawsuit against some netizens who posted malicious comments online.
Haneul's legal firm filed a complaint with the Seoul Gwangjin Police Station yesterday against an unspecified number of individuals for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act. The complaint reportedly includes requests to punish defamatory comments related to past school violence allegations and criticisms of the extravagant wedding.
On the 23rd, Haneul held a wedding ceremony with her businessman husband at a wedding hall in Gangnam-gu. The event attracted attention with about 1,000 guests, including famous celebrities.
Haneul first gained recognition by appearing on the iHQ variety show Eoljung Sidae 6, which aired in 2011. She is currently the CEO of the underwear shopping mall 'HaneulHaneul' and active as a beauty YouTuber.
