View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] S-Oil announced on the 26th that it held an exchange event called "Gathering" for two days starting from the 25th, attended by 46 new employees.
According to S-Oil, the new employees who joined earlier this year underwent remote training without any in-person group training due to COVID-19 and were immediately assigned to their respective departments.
Therefore, the company organized an event where new employees could gather and interact to strengthen bonds among peers and senior employees, as well as to enhance understanding of and belonging to the company.
The event took place over two days in Ulsan, where the company's production facilities are located, and included various programs such as factory tours, presentations and awards for outstanding work automation projects, team building activities, and exchanges with senior employees.

An official from S-Oil's Human Resources Development Team stated, "This event was held for new employees who joined during the COVID-19 period and were unable to participate in group training or factory experiences," adding, "The company is preparing various talent development programs, including mentoring programs, education tailored for the MZ generation, and training in data analysis and digital capabilities, to help new employees grow into creative and proactive global talents who will lead the company's change and growth."
