View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Kim Dae-sik, president of Gyeongnam Information University, met with Nguyen Van Phuc, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, in Hanoi on the 24th to discuss enhancing educational exchanges and attracting international students.
During the meeting, Nguyen Van Phuc, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, said, "The Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam will spare no effort to provide maximum support," and added, "We have great interest in educational cooperation between Korea and Vietnam and hope to collaborate more broadly with Gyeongnam Information University."
President Kim Dae-sik stated, "Gyeongnam Information University will take the lead in promoting educational exchanges between the two countries," and said, "We will provide differentiated education in a state-of-the-art educational environment for Vietnamese students studying at Gyeongnam Information University and take responsibility for their employment in Korea as well."
From the 23rd to the 27th, President Kim visited Hanoi, Vietnam, and signed agreements with five universities: Nguyen Trai University, Hanoi International College, Hoa Binh University, Phakha Technical College, and Viet-Han Technical College.
He is also carrying out various schedules to expand local exchanges in Vietnam, including meetings with government officials such as the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and signing agreements with local companies.
