[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] American comedian Leslie Jordan died in a car accident on the 24th (local time) in Hollywood, Los Angeles. He was 67 years old.
According to a statement released by his family, Jordan was driving to Warner Bros. Studio in Hollywood in the morning to film the drama "Call Me Kat" when he crashed into a building by the roadside and died at the scene.
The police suspect that Jordan experienced a medical issue while driving, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
Born in Tennessee, USA, in 1995, Jordan gained acclaim for his comedic performance as Beverly Leslie in the 2006 sitcom "Will & Grace." He won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for this role. He also delivered strong performances in TV shows such as "American Horror Story" and "Boston Legal," and appeared in films like "Lost in the Pershing Point Hotel" and "Hollywood to Dollywood."
