Gyeonggi Economic Agency Secures Investment Worth 96 Billion Won

On the 24th, the Gyeonggi Economic Authority announced on the 25th that it signed an investment agreement with NST Co., Ltd., Korea Total Co., Ltd., L&D Co., Ltd., and Pyeongtaek City for the industrial and logistics facility land occupancy in the Pyeongtaek Poseung (BIX) district.
The Gyeonggi Economic Authority and Pyeongtaek City promised support to resolve various difficulties arising from obtaining necessary permits for factories and until the completion of logistics centers.
The companies agreed to revitalize the local economy through the establishment of manufacturing and logistics facilities and to operate and manage environmentally friendly facilities.
Investment company NST Co., Ltd. will invest in nano new material research and development and manufacturing facilities, Korea Total Co., Ltd. will invest in a synthetic resin manufacturing plant, and L&D Co., Ltd. will establish a complex logistics center.

Shin Nang-hyun, head of the Gyeonggi Economic Authority, said, "Despite ongoing economic uncertainties, many companies have recently moved into the Poseung (BIX) district," adding, "We especially thank the four companies that decided to invest this time, and we will spare no support so that resident companies can grow together and a core industrial cluster can be established."
