Gwangju University Supports Liberal Arts Education for Residents of Hyodeok-dong
University Liberal Education Center - Happiness Welfare Center and Resident Autonomy Committee Agreement
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) Liberal Education Center recently announced on the 24th that it signed a business agreement with Hyodeok-dong Administrative Welfare Center and Hyodeok-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee at the Hosim Memorial Library on campus to share and cooperate on liberal education curricula.
The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Jeonga, Director of Gwangju University Liberal Education Center, Kim Kyungsu, Director of Hyodeok-dong Administrative Welfare Center, and Han Manseop, Chairman of Hyodeok-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee.
Each institution agreed to promote ▲ enhancing citizen capabilities and nurturing professionals through educational programs ▲ jointly conducting promotional activities using each institution’s media and networks ▲ cooperation for research and development related to liberal education and culture and arts.
Gwangju University plans to operate various programs to provide learning opportunities to local residents and to share and expand liberal specialized curricula based on culture and arts.
