Hanwha Systems Abolishes Executive Titles of Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President... Conducts Regular Executive Personnel Changes
Optimal Placement of 'Progressive Talent' to Achieve Technical Workforce and Business Innovation... 8 Promoted
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Hanwha Systems conducted its regular executive personnel reshuffle on the 24th.
In the regular executive personnel reshuffle, Hanwha Systems announced the list of eight newly promoted executives. ▲Park Se-hwan ▲Song Seong-chan ▲Shim Kang-seop ▲Lee Gi-taek ▲Jeon Hyuk ▲Jo Myung-seop ▲Ha Yoon-cheol ▲Hong Yoon-seok were included in this promotion list.
Along with this personnel reshuffle, Hanwha Systems is newly introducing a 'position-centered executive system' based on the value of roles and responsibilities, which has recently been adopted by many global companies.
This system abolishes the seniority-based executive titles such as Managing Director, Executive Director, and Vice President, and determines executive promotions and transfers based on the value and suitability of the position, with changes in compensation levels accordingly.
The titles of executives will also be changed from traditional ranks like Managing Director and Executive Director to position names such as Manager, General Manager, and Head of Division, reflecting their roles.
