"More Convenient with Yonggimyeon" Nongshim Launches 'Sacheon Baek Jjamppong Bowl'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Nongshim announced on the 24th that it will launch a new product, 'Sacheonbaek Jjamppong Bowl'.
Sacheonbaek Jjamppong Bowl is a cup noodle version of Sacheonbaek Jjamppong, which features a refreshing and spicy broth with clean dried noodles, and has sold 15 million units in about a year since its launch, establishing itself in the market.
Sacheonbaek Jjamppong Bowl captures the original broth flavor made with refreshing seafood stock including oysters, clams, and sea squirts, enhanced with Cheongyang chili peppers and pepper for spiciness. Additionally, by utilizing the advantages of dried noodles, it has become lighter and more convenient. It contains 275 kcal and can be cooked in a microwave, allowing consumers to enjoy chewier noodles.
Nongshim introduced Sacheonbaek Jjamppong Bowl riding on the hot popularity of the bagged noodles. Sacheonbaek Jjamppong, released in November last year, gained great attention as a white broth ramen perfect for hangover relief. In particular, Nongshim plans to target the tastes of the younger generation with the cup noodle version, noting the positive response Sacheonbaek Jjamppong received among single-person households.
