Hand Injury Accident at SPC-affiliated 'Shani' Bakery Factory... Police Investigation Underway
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] At around 6:10 a.m. on the 23rd, a man in his 40s, Mr. A, was injured when his finger got caught and severed in a machine at the Shani bakery factory in Jungwon-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province.
Shani is one of the SPC Group affiliates where a fatal accident involving a worker in their 20s recently occurred.
It is understood that Mr. A was trying to remove defective bread products from the conveyor belt when his finger got caught in the machine, causing the accident.
