The team ‘Nam to the Bu to the Baljeon,’ consisting of senior students Yoon Seong-ho, Heo Won-mu, Kang Min-song, and sophomore student Lee Ji-won, earned the honor by diagnosing web vulnerabilities through homepage web hacking and proposing security measures to resolve them.
Yoon Seong-ho, who participated in the competition, said, “I usually focus on finding homepage vulnerabilities with my club friends, so it was meaningful to have the opportunity to discover actual site vulnerabilities and suggest countermeasures.”
The ‘KOSPO Web Service Information Security Competition’ is held annually by Korea Southern Power to discover and nurture future cyber information security talents.
