Daishin Securities Lists Two Types of Two-Way Leverage Natural Gas Futures ETNs
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Daishin Securities is launching two new leveraged ETNs that track natural gas futures.
On the 20th, Daishin Securities announced that it will newly list two types of bi-directional leveraged ETNs that track the daily price changes of natural gas futures listed on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) at 2 times the positive or negative rate.
This natural gas ETN was planned to reflect the increased investment demand for natural gas due to the expanded volatility in energy prices.
The "Daishin S&P 2X Natural Gas Futures ETN" and the "Daishin S&P Inverse 2X Natural Gas Futures ETN" are based on the "DJCI Natural Gas 2X Leveraged TR" and "DJCI Natural Gas 2X Inverse TR" listed on NYMEX, respectively. The underlying assets track the daily price changes of natural gas futures at 2 times and -2 times, respectively.
The maturity of these products is 3 years, and they are foreign exchange exposure products that do not hedge risks arising from fluctuations in the KRW-USD exchange rate. For more details, please contact the Daishin Securities Customer Satisfaction Center.
Choi Dae-kyung, Head of Passive Operations at Daishin Securities, stated, "Using these natural gas leveraged products will help diversify risks in the increasingly volatile commodity market," and added, "We will continue to introduce various products that meet investor needs."
