Jang Obong Appointed as President of Korea Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] The Korea Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Association announced on the 19th that it held an extraordinary general meeting and appointed Jang Obong, CEO of Hanil Industrial, as the 22nd president.
President Jang joined Hanil Cement and gained experience in various management roles. Since 2016, he served as the Vice President in charge of sales at Hanil Cement and was the CEO of Hanil Hyundai Cement in 2019. He is currently the CEO of Hanil Industrial Co., Ltd.
President Jang is recognized as an expert in the construction materials field, including cement, ready-mixed concrete, and Remital, with 37 years of experience. He is known for his strong trust within the industry by smoothly mediating and resolving major industry issues.
An association official explained, “Amid the expected decline in demand due to the slowdown in the construction market, he was appointed as the right person to smoothly resolve the pressing issues.”
