[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] The Democratic Party of Korea condemned North Korea's shelling of the maritime buffer zones in the East Sea and West Sea as a "clear violation of the September 19 Agreement."
Kim Hyun-jung, spokesperson for the Democratic Party, stated on the 19th, "North Korea has once again shelled the maritime buffer zones in the East Sea and West Sea," and added, "We condemn North Korea's increasingly aggressive military provocations."
Spokesperson Kim said, "There is nothing to be gained from provocations," and urged, "North Korea should cease its displays of military force that threaten the situation on the Korean Peninsula."
He also appealed, "The Yoon Seok-yeol administration should not shake the ROK-US alliance through security populism," emphasizing, "There is no room for political maneuvering in security matters."
