Lotte Tour Development Aims to Attract Japanese Customers to Jeju with Casino VIP Charter Flights
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Lotte Tour Development announced on the 19th that it will attract Japanese customers by operating the first exclusive charter flights for casino VIP customers between Japan and Jeju.
Lotte Tour Development will independently operate two round-trip exclusive charter flights connecting Tokyo, Japan, and Jeju on December 4th and December 30th.
This is the first time that Japanese casino VIPs will visit Jeju by taking exclusive charter flights using large national airlines.
Lotte Tour Development stated, "Among Asian casino VIP customers who prefer Korea as an alternative destination instead of Macau, where strict visitor quarantine measures are in place, interest in Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort, which has international competitiveness in integrated resorts and casino facilities, is increasing."
In Japan, as news spread that exclusive casino charter flights to Jeju Dream Tower would be independently operated, the number of applicants increased, and the originally planned one round trip was urgently increased to two.

A Lotte Tour Development official said, "With the independent operation of charter flights and the resumption of regular flights on the Jeju-Osaka route, it is expected that Japanese tourists visiting Jeju without passing through the mainland and without a visa will rush in. In particular, many Japanese casino VIPs have expressed their intention to visit Dream Tower Casino, so we expect a significant change in sales."
