"Can't Break Up" Woman in Her 20s Arrested for Attacking Boyfriend with Weapon After Breakup Notice
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A woman in her 20s who wielded a weapon at her boyfriend after he broke up with her has been arrested by the police.
On the 19th, the Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul announced that they have arrested and are investigating a woman in her 20s, identified as Ms. A, on suspicion of attempted murder.
Ms. A is accused of calling her boyfriend, who had broken up with her the previous day, to the front of the apartment in Sinwol-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, at around 1:36 a.m. and wielding a weapon at him.
It is reported that the victim took the knife away from Ms. A and directly reported the incident to the police. The police confiscated a cutter knife at the scene.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating the detailed circumstances of the incident with Ms. A.
