Drunk 20s Male Assaults Friend and Smashes Police Car, Arrested on the Spot

On the 18th, the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested a man in his 20s, identified as A, on charges of assault and damage to public property.
A is accused of assaulting a friend while intoxicated on a street in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, around 1 a.m. that day, and damaging a police patrol car that responded. It was reported that A climbed onto the patrol car and broke the front windshield.
According to the police, A was confirmed to be a social service agent working at a subway station.

A police official stated, "He has been released after some initial questioning," and added, "We plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident further."
