Bank of Korea Supports National Assembly Economic Education... Training Courses Opened for Members and Staff

View original imageThe Bank of Korea announced on the 18th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Assembly Secretariat at the National Assembly to cooperate on economic education and personnel exchanges.
With this MOU, the Bank of Korea and the National Assembly Secretariat will establish and operate various training programs, including advanced courses aimed at enhancing the legislative capabilities of National Assembly members and staff. Additionally, they plan to strengthen personnel exchanges such as mutual staff secondments.
Starting from the 3rd of next month, the Bank of Korea and the National Assembly Secretariat will conduct a National Assembly Advanced Economic and Financial Course for National Assembly members and public officials at the director-general level or higher, held every Thursday for a total of five sessions.
The course will feature instructors including the Bank of Korea’s Deputy Governor and relevant directors, with the final lecture delivered by Lee Chang-yong, Governor of the Bank of Korea.
