Seven Eleven Launches Clean Water Refill Support Service for Camping Enthusiasts
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Convenience store Seven Eleven announced on the 18th that it has started a clean water (Cheongsu) replenishment service for camping cars at six stores located in Gangwon-do.
As camping culture has recently spread, Seven Eleven selected six stores near major camping sites in Gangwon-do and established Cheongsu zones.
Camping cars are equipped with living facilities such as kitchens and bathrooms and have clean water tanks for storing clean water, but recently, camping enthusiasts have faced difficulties due to a lack of facilities for replenishing clean water.
Camping customers can use the clean water replenishment service for free when purchasing more than 10,000 KRW at the designated stores. Even if no purchase is made, clean water can be replenished for 1,000 KRW. Seven Eleven expects a significant increase in franchise store profits through customer attraction effects from this service and plans to expand the service area nationwide, focusing on camping sites.
