Emart Halloween Festival... "Discount Benefits on Over 200 Products"
Yongsan Branch Hosts Halloween Experience Store... Free 4-Shot Photo Booth Installed
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Emart announced on the 18th that it will hold a 'Halloween Festival' offering discounts on over 200 products from the 20th to the 31st of this month.
This event has prepared about 30% more products than last year. Three types of discount coupons are provided that can be used on all chocolates, candies, and jelly products. The discount coupons include three coupons: 10% off for purchases over 10,000 KRW, 20% off for purchases over 20,000 KRW, and 30% off for purchases over 30,000 KRW.
Popular product discounts are also abundantly prepared. Lotte Crunky Choco Bar Mini and Twix Minis, newly launched with playful Halloween packaging, will be sold at about 30% off. Additionally, Emart-exclusive products such as the popular character Sanrio Characters Kuromi Halloween Headband Set and Pumpkin Cape Set (for infants), Dracula Cape Set (for children), and Scream Set (for children) will be offered at a 20% discount when purchased with event cards.
For the first time, a Halloween experiential store will be introduced. Emart Yongsan Branch has created a zombie town concept space and installed a free 4-cut photo booth so customers can easily capture memories. Even in regular stores, Halloween-themed sculptures and curtains have been installed so customers can fully enjoy the Halloween atmosphere.
According to Emart, the age group purchasing Halloween products is expanding beyond people in their 30s and 40s to all age groups. In 2018, the 30s and 40s accounted for 95.5%, but last year this dropped significantly to 78.2%. Instead, the proportions of customers in their 50s and 60s increased about 4 times and 7 times, respectively.
