Gokseong Simcheong Children's Festival Opens on the 27th

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jongseon] From the 27th to the 30th, the Simcheong Children's Festival will be held at the Seomjingang Train Village in Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.

This festival is held under the theme "A Special Day Gifted to Children."

During the festival period, the entire Seomjingang Train Village will transform into a playground where children can run and play freely.

The festival site is divided into five main zones for visitors to explore.

First, the central plaza will host the main events and performances.

On the 27th, performances such as face-changing and magic shows will enliven the first day of the festival.

At 5 PM on the 28th, the opening ceremony will feature a surprise appearance by Pengsoo, followed by the Masked Family Singing Contest (Bokmyeon Gahyoje). Families of two or more generations will participate wearing unique character masks to showcase their singing talents.

On the 29th, starting with the County Youth Orchestra, the popular children's musical "Mom Katuri" will be performed at 11 AM and 3 PM.

Following that, there will be an Animal Brass Party, Hanbok fashion show, national taekwondo demonstration, and a children's world yodel performance.

From 6 PM, the Rainbow Concert featuring Pastel Girls, Episode, Yang Da-il, Romantic Punch, and Ailee will heat up the autumn night.

On the final day, the 30th, visitors can enjoy a character sing-along show at 12 PM and a "Sea Explorers Octonauts" performance at 3 PM.

Additionally, the festival will feature Reggae Rocker Percussion, the Jeollanam-do Provincial Gugak Orchestra, a children's participatory magic show called "Illusion of the Fantastic World," a Disney Gala Show, and will conclude with performances by Ulala Session and Gummy, marking the finale of the four-day festival.

At Rose Park, various experiences and performances will take place.

From traditional weapon-making experiences such as bows and wooden swords to family-friendly programs like making scented candles, phone holders, and wooden fidget spinners, the area will be filled with enjoyable activities.

The Ecology Learning Center will be decorated as a Halloween Zone.

In the Halloween Zone, events such as the children's Halloween cosplay contest "Halloween Kingwangjjang," magic shows, sand crafts, and live sketches will be held.

At the Rose Stage, a professional foreign duo will perform a marionette puppet show.

At the Lawn Plaza, children can fully enjoy air bounces, gym balls, trampolines, and board games.

A toy fishing event conveying a message about marine animal protection will also be held daily.

In front of the Music Fountain, a 5-meter large polar bear will deliver a message about climate change.

The area in front of Dreamland will be filled with various hands-on experiences.

Visitors can enjoy sensory-stimulating activities such as Deco Den grip talks, Hello Kitty air fresheners, and rose perfumes.

The Little Plaza will be transformed into a Halloween-themed park with a maze made of straw bundles and an exhibition of various pumpkins from around the world.

At the Magic Plaza, an exciting cube competition will be held.

There will also be a children's observatory experience and a fitness certification center where physical abilities can be simply measured.

There are many other attractions as well. For four days, characters from Super Wings, Mom Katuri, Bread Barber Shop, and Dinosaur Mecard will roam the festival grounds, enhancing the festive atmosphere.

These characters will take photos with children, creating unforgettable memories.

Children who have not prepared Halloween costumes can borrow Halloween capes and hats for free.

Also, in celebration of Hanbok Culture Week, a free Hanbok rental center will operate at the main entrance of the Train Village, and a Hanbok exhibition will be held at the Kakao Greenhouse within the festival grounds.
