Korail Gwangju Jeonnam "Do Not Bring Bicycles on Regular Trains"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Korea Railroad Corporation Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters announced on the 17th that it conducted a campaign at major stations on the 13th and 14th to establish a proper bicycle usage culture.
This campaign was carried out to address safety accidents and customer inconveniences caused by not adhering to bicycle carriage boarding standards, as the number of bicycle users increases in autumn.
To carry a bicycle and board a train, passengers must use certain Mugunghwa trains equipped with bicycle racks or bicycle-only tourist trains. For other regular trains, bicycles must be folded or completely disassembled to be allowed on board.
