Restoration of KakaoTalk Gift Service... "Photo Sending on KakaoTalk Not Yet Available"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] KakaoTalk's Gift Sending, Mobile Login, and Notification Talk services, which were interrupted due to the fire at the Pangyo Data Center in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 16th, have been restored.
According to Kakao on the 16th, as of 5 PM, the additionally restored functions include ▲KakaoTalk Gift Sending ▲KakaoTalk Mobile Login ▲KakaoTalk Notification Talk, Talk Business Card, Electronic Signature ▲Kakao Music (partial) ▲Kakao Parking, among others.
Sending images, videos, and files, using Talk Channel, sending push messages, creating Open Chat rooms, Open Chat Voice Room functions, Talk Calendar, Talk Drawer, Wallet service, and Emoticon search are still undergoing restoration work.
Services and functions that Kakao announced are still under restoration include ▲KakaoMap's public transportation and Road View ▲KakaoT Bike function ▲Melon’s search, charts, and personalized areas ▲Kakao Page ▲Kakao Games’ PC games, among others.
Most other services have had their main functions restored.
