OB Beer Holds '2022 Startup Meetup' with Seoul Startup Hub

Investment and customized follow-up support provided to final selected companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] OB Beer announced on the 16th that it will carry out the ‘2022 Startup Meetup’ program in collaboration with Seoul Startup Hub under the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) and the Seoul Metropolitan Government to revitalize the startup ecosystem and support startups.
Since 2019, OB Beer has continuously participated for four years in the ‘Startup Meetup,’ a flagship program for win-win cooperation between large corporations and startups, aimed at discovering and nurturing startups with innovative technologies.
The 2022 Startup Meetup application is open until the 28th on the Seoul Startup Hub website, and the final selected companies will be individually notified around the end of November. This year’s recruitment fields for the Startup Meetup include four areas: ▲Eco-friendly (ESG) ▲New business development ▲Work efficiency and automation ▲Consumer experience and digital innovation.
Companies selected through the Startup Meetup will be given opportunities for investment and collaboration with OB Beer, and support for technology commercialization to pre-validate prototypes before market launch. Additionally, customized follow-up support such as commercialization (POC) funding from the Seoul Business Agency, global expansion funding, ESG consulting, and PR support will be provided.
OB Beer, which has been providing comprehensive support to help startups with innovative technologies grow stably, established a collaborative system and maintains a win-win relationship with the food upcycling specialist company ‘Reharvest’ and the green bio venture company ‘Rapique’ through the same program last year. Through such programs, OB Beer is promoting various activities to practice corporate social responsibility under the ESG management philosophy and to create technological advancement and long-term synergy through business commercialization linkages between large corporations and startups.
