SPC Group Opens Shake Shack Singapore 'Junction 8' Location
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] SPC Group's Shake Shack announced on the 14th that it has opened its 9th store in Singapore, the 'Junction 8 (Junction 8) store.'
Shake Shack Westgate is located on the first floor of Junction 8, the largest shopping mall in the Bishan area, a large residential complex in central Singapore, with an area of 324㎡ and 104 seats.
Shake Shack Bishan was inspired by the shape of the roads in the Bishan area, which intersect at various heights and directions, and decorated the ceiling, walls, and lighting with an urban feel. On the walls, in collaboration with Singapore's young illustrator Dawn Ang, colorful shapes and lines are used to depict the roads of the Bishan area.
To commemorate the opening of the Shake Shack Bishan store in Singapore, a limited edition concrete (ice dessert) called 'Who 8 my Cookies?' was also introduced.

An SPC Group official said, "We have opened Shake Shack stores not only in existing commercial areas but also in shopping malls near residential complexes," adding, "We will actively expand SPC Group's business areas within Singapore to expand the Southeast Asian market, which is one of the growth axes of our global business."
