View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] Hyundai Rotem announced on the 14th that it attended the '1 Company 1 Barracks Corporate and Unit Representatives Meeting' held at Gyeryongdae in Chungcheongnam-do, hosted by the Army. The 1 Company 1 Barracks program is a win-win development initiative where military units and companies form sisterhood ties and engage in mutual exchanges to boost the morale of soldiers and strengthen civil-military bonds.
The meeting was attended by Army officials, companies partnered in the 1 Company 1 Barracks program, and unit representatives. Hyundai Rotem agreed on the necessity of strengthening civil-military mutual ties and discussed continuous cooperation measures. It was decided to continue the 1 Company 1 Barracks activities with the Army Logistics Command.
Earlier, Hyundai Rotem signed a 1 Company 1 Barracks agreement with the Army Logistics Command this year. Through this, Hyundai Rotem will cooperate in company tours for soldiers and support the social advancement of discharged soldiers. The Army Logistics Command will provide security education, tours, and barracks experience opportunities for Hyundai Rotem employees.
