The child violence eradication ‘END violence’ campaign, with the slogan ‘Take action, stop violence,’ is a campaign jointly conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UNICEF since July, aiming for the international community to unite and actively respond to physical and mental violence against children and adolescents.
Mayor Hong was nominated by Park Hong-ryul, Mayor of Mokpo, and posted a photo taken with the campaign logo along with a message to eradicate child violence on SNS (personal social networking services), including the mandatory hashtags (#UNICEF, #ENDviolence, #ChildViolenceEradication), and nominated National Assembly members Kim Young-sun, Choi Hyung-doo, and Yoon Han-hong as the next participants in the campaign.
