On the 13th, Hyundai Construction Equipment held an event at the construction site office in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, the previous day, and presented plaques of appreciation and certificates for free AS worth 5 million KRW and exchangeable goods to Hong Myung-kwang and Go Hyun-guk, who rescued a mother and child using Hyundai Construction Equipment excavators at the recent fire scene. The ceremony was attended by Kim Yong-sung, Executive Director of Hyundai Construction Equipment's Korea Sales Division, and site officials.
Last month, when flames erupted on the first floor of a two-story building in Bokyong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, Mr. Hong, who was working as the site manager at a nearby construction site, witnessed the fire and directed rescue operations. Excavator operator Mr. Go drove a Hyundai Construction Equipment 14-ton excavator directly to the fire scene and extended the bucket under the second-floor window of the building to evacuate a woman and her two-year-old child to a safe place, conducting rescue activities.
