Seol Kyung-gu and Kim Hee-ae Wrap Up Filming of 'The Dinner'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The film "The Dinner" (working title), starring actors Seol Kyung-gu and Kim Hee-ae, completed three months of filming and wrapped up at the end of September, Hybe Media Corp announced on the 13th.
"The Dinner" is a movie depicting the story of two couples, who are brothers with different beliefs, accidentally confronting a terrible secret. It is based on the Dutch author Herman Koch's bestseller of the same name. Director Hur Jin-ho, who directed "Christmas in August" (1998), "One Fine Spring Day" (2001), and "Moonlit Winter" (2019), took the helm.
Seol Kyung-gu said, "I tried my best to present a good work together with Director Hur Jin-ho and my fellow actors. I am grateful to be able to meet the audience with 'The Dinner." Jang Dong-gun, announcing his return to the screen after four years, said, "It was a happy time to work closely with senior and junior actors over the past three months. I am confident that a good work will come out as the acting chemistry was excellent."
Kim Hee-ae expressed, "I am very thankful to the actors, director, and staff who worked together in harmony on set to complete the work. Thank you all for your hard work so far."
