According to Homeplus, sales of salted napa cabbage account for about 67% of the total napa cabbage sales during the kimchi-making season. Accordingly, Homeplus has prepared 60,000 boxes of salted napa cabbage, increasing the quantity by 20% compared to the same period last year. They secured the quantity through additional sourcing and pre-planning, allowing them to offer prices lower than the market rate.
From the 13th to the 19th, during the first week of the event, Homeplus will collaborate with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to offer a 20% discount to My Homeplus membership customers. Domestic salted napa cabbage (5kg, 10kg, 20kg) will be sold at 15,920 KRW, 22,320 KRW, and 31,920 KRW respectively, and domestic salted young radish (5kg) will be offered at a promotional price of 31,900 KRW. Kimchi seasoning (2kg, 4kg), perfect for easy kimchi making, will be sold at 31,900 KRW and 47,900 KRW respectively.
This pre-order can be made at each store’s customer service center and Homeplus online until the 23rd of next month, and products will be delivered sequentially from the 9th of next month until December 16th.
