KCC Construction to Launch 'Daejeon Aether Switzen' for Sale in November
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] KCC Construction announced on the 11th that it will launch the sale of the residential-commercial complex "Daejeon Aether Switzen" in Yongmun-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon Metropolitan City in November.
"Daejeon Aether Switzen" consists of two buildings with 5 basement floors and up to 38 floors above ground, comprising 138 apartment units with exclusive areas ranging from 62㎡ to 84㎡, and 60 residential officetel units with an exclusive area of 84㎡. Neighborhood living facilities will be located on the 1st to 3rd floors above ground.
The complex is a prime station-area development located right in front of Exit 3 of Yongmun Station on Daejeon Subway Line 1, allowing convenient access to both downtown and outskirts of Daejeon. It is expected to also provide access to Yongdu Station (planned), a transfer station for the Chungcheong Regional Metropolitan Railroad scheduled to open in 2024, and the Daejeon Line 2 tram (planned). Additionally, the complex offers easy ingress and egress via the adjacent Dosan-ro and Gyeryong-ro roads, and convenient access to the Honam Expressway Branch Line, Gyeongbu Expressway, and Cheonbyeon Urban Expressway.
Regarding the educational environment, there are Baegun Elementary School, Goejeong Middle School, Daejeon Seo Middle School, Goejeong High School, and Daejeon Foreign Language High School nearby, along with the Dunsan-dong academy district. Notably, within a 1km radius are Lotte Department Store, Hanaro Mart, Hanmin Market, as well as shopping and cultural facilities such as Galleria Department Store, E-Mart, Megabox, and the Galma Complex Cultural Center (planned) in Dunsan-dong, all accessible within one subway stop.
KCC Construction’s ‘Switzen Design Manual 2.0’ will be applied, giving the complex a luxurious, modern, and futuristic signature exterior design. The buildings are arranged mainly facing south to secure sunlight rights, and some unit types are designed with a 4Bay cross-ventilation structure to maximize openness and space utilization.
High-quality finishing materials are used not only for the interior but also inside the units. Notably, instead of the traditional balcony steel railings, scenic balcony windows (applied in living rooms) are installed. Additionally, hotel-style separated bathrooms and pantries equipped with various storage spaces are introduced. The community facilities include a fitness club, kids caf?, and other diverse amenities.
