Gokseong-gun Holds Action Group Meeting for Rural New Vitality Plus Project
Investing 7 Billion KRW by 2025 to Promote the Rural New Vitality Plus Project
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-sun] Jeollanam-do Gokseong-gun (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that on the 7th, it held a Rural New Vitality Plus Project Action Group meeting at the Gokseong Leisure Culture Center.
Gokseong-gun is promoting the Rural New Vitality Plus Project with a total project cost of 7 billion KRW by 2025.
The goal is to discover and nurture autonomous private organizations in the region to establish a self-reliant growth foundation for rural areas.
The meeting was attended by the Rural New Vitality Plus Project Promotion Team and the Action Group.
The county explained to the attendees the basic plan amendment, which was finally approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs on September 26.
It then provided guidance on the plan to incorporate eight action groups that graduated from the first academy session.
Future plans for promoting the New Vitality Plus Project were shared, and questions from the action group members were answered.
Attendees had in-depth discussions about the plan to build a Detox Therapy Center and the operation plan of the Rural New Vitality Plus Project after the incorporation of the action groups.
Additionally, Gokseong-gun, the promotion team, and the action groups reaffirmed their commitment to successful project implementation through swift and strong solidarity.
Gokseong-gun plans to revitalize the region by linking the Rural New Vitality Plus Project with various local development projects such as healing agriculture and the tentative "Delivery Farmer" project.
A county official said, “We will do our best to maximize the effectiveness of the project by reflecting the opinions of private organizations as much as possible.”
