[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyuk-jun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Bok-gyu) announced on the 11th that it is recruiting youth organizations to participate in the ‘2022 Jeonnam-type Youth Community Revitalization Project’ contest.
Although the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s Youth Community Revitalization Project is currently being promoted, there are plans to expand it as a Jeonnam-type project to focus on fostering youth community revitalization as key actors in local community activities.
This project supports youth community activities and networking.
The support areas include activities to enhance the vitality of the local community such as ▲activities contributing to COVID-19 daily recovery (additional points) ▲local-linked events, program operations, and other activities to boost local vitality ▲activities through research and surveys between the local community and youth ▲various activities to contribute to the local community and settle in the area ▲communication and interaction activities with local youth.
Eligibility requires a youth community composed of five or more youths (team, corporation, or organization), and the selection scale is five youth community teams in Hwasun-gun.
The project fund can be supported up to 5 million KRW per team, and selection is made through a first-round document screening followed by a second-round PPT presentation.
Application documents must be submitted to the Planning and Audit Office of the county office by the 17th.
