Through the Happy Lunchbox Center, 200 lunchboxes will be delivered to vulnerable children from November to January next year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan City is collaborating with the social contribution network Happy Alliance, Ulsan Port Authority, and SK Innovation Ulsan Complex to support children at risk of food insecurity.
On the 11th at 10:30 a.m., the city will hold a 'Donation Ceremony for Nutritional Snack Package Support for Vulnerable Children' in the Mayor's Reception Room on the 7th floor of the main building.
About 10 people, including Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom, Park Jung-won, Head of External Cooperation at SK Innovation Ulsan Complex, Kim Jae-gyun, President of Ulsan Port Authority, representatives from the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, Happy Alliance, and the Happy Lunchbox Center, will attend the ceremony.
SK Innovation is donating 60 million KRW, and Ulsan Port Authority is donating 20 million KRW. Through the Happy Lunchbox Center Ulsan branch, lunchboxes will be delivered to 200 vulnerable children in the district from November this year to January next year.
Park Jung-won, Head of SK Innovation Ulsan Complex, said, “Work for children is work for the future of our society, and it requires the efforts of all of us. We hope that the cooperation between local businesses and municipalities will help build a practical social safety net to address the difficulties faced by children in welfare blind spots.”
