A fire broke out around 12:40 AM on the 11th at a three-story pension located in Wolryeong-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju City.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jung-wan] At around 12:33 AM on the 11th, a fire broke out at a three-story pension in Wolryeong-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju City, completely burning down two pension buildings.
The fire, which started in the wooden three-story building, spread to the adjacent two-story building, resulting in most of the two pension buildings being destroyed by the fire.
According to the fire authorities, the initial ignition was captured on a nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) at the north side of the pension's third floor at 12:33 AM.
One female guest in her 50s staying at the pension was rescued, and other guests escaped on their own, so there were no reported casualties.

The fire department completely extinguished the fire at around 6:32 AM, six hours after it started, and is currently investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the property damage.
