Superintendent Kim visited Ulsan Metropolitan City, where the competition is being held, received reports on the current status and expected performance of Jeonnam student athletes, then inspected the soccer stadium, athletics, and volleyball training sites, and cheered for the athletes.
In this competition, Jeonnam sent 433 athletes from 59 schools to compete in 37 events, and by the second day of the opening on the 8th, they had won a total of 20 medals: 9 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze.
At the site, Superintendent Kim Dae-jung said, "I am grateful for guiding Jeonnam athletes to demonstrate their best skills despite difficult conditions such as the COVID-19 situation," and urged, "Please do your best in safety and quarantine management until they return home after the competition ends."
