The Gwangju Western Police Station announced on the 7th that they are investigating a man in his 20s, identified as A, on charges including sexual assault.

When the woman's son woke up after hearing her scream and tried to report to the police, A jumped out of a fourth-floor window of the house he had broken into.
A was injured from the fall and sat down at the scene, where he was found by responding police officers and transported to a nearby hospital.
