T'way Air Launches Promotion to Celebrate Visa-Free Travel to Japan
Supply Expansion through Increased Flights and Resumption of Japan Routes
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] T'way Air announced on the 5th that it will expand its flight capacity to Japan and hold a commemorative promotion in preparation for increased demand following the start of visa-free travel to Japan from the 11th.
In response to the growing demand for travel to Japan, T'way Air will increase its current four weekly flights from Incheon to Fukuoka, Osaka (Kansai), and Tokyo (Narita) to daily flights starting from the 14th.
Furthermore, the Incheon-Fukuoka route will operate twice daily from the 30th of this month, the Incheon-Osaka route will operate twice daily from the 4th of next month and three times daily from the 20th, the Incheon-Tokyo route will operate twice daily from the 11th of next month and three times daily from December 1st. The Incheon-Sapporo route will operate daily from the 3rd of next month. Along with the increased flights on the Osaka and Tokyo routes, T'way Air plans to deploy the A330-300 aircraft with 347 seats to actively expand seat supply.
At Daegu Airport, regular flights to Japan, which were suspended during the pandemic, will resume. The Daegu-Fukuoka route will operate daily from the 11th of next month, and the Daegu-Tokyo route will operate daily from the 14th.
A promotion commemorating visa-free travel to Japan will be held from 10 a.m. on the 5th until the 16th on T'way Air’s website, mobile app, and web. When booking round-trip tickets on Japan routes, entering the discount code ‘GOJAPAN’ will apply an immediate 5% discount, and special fares will be offered on six Japan routes.
One-way total fares (including fuel surcharges and airport taxes) start from ▲Incheon-Fukuoka 96,200 KRW ▲Incheon-Osaka 106,200 KRW ▲Incheon-Tokyo 107,300 KRW ▲Incheon-Sapporo 197,300 KRW ▲Daegu-Fukuoka 91,200 KRW ▲Daegu-Tokyo 122,300 KRW.
The travel period is until March 25 of next year, and for promotional routes, one reservation change fee will be waived. Additionally, during October, overlapping discounts are available when paying with KakaoPay or NH Nonghyup Card.
