Encode Acquires ‘Now in Paris’... Full-Scale Expansion of Local Logistics in Europe
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Encode, operator of the luxury pre-order platform 'Decode,' announced on the 5th that it has completed the acquisition of the overseas direct purchase platform 'Now in Paris' from VTPL.
Now in Paris is an overseas direct purchase-based platform centered on famous French brands such as Sandro and Maje. Since its establishment, it has maintained steady growth every year and is recognized as a stable service securing operating profits.
Through the acquisition of the Now in Paris service, Encode plans to expand its product lineup to include French contemporary brands, diversify its product offerings, and secure female customers in their 30s and 40s with strong purchasing power in addition to its existing main user base of customers in their 20s and 30s, which is expected to further accelerate the growth of the existing service.
Additionally, along with the acquisition of the Now in Paris service, Encode will start operating its own local logistics warehouse in Europe within this month and begin full-scale efficiency improvements within Europe.
