2nd Secondary Housing Maintenance Council Meeting Held: "Realizing the Reality of Reconstruction Burden Fee Standards"
On the 4th at 11 a.m., the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport held the 2nd 'Housing Maintenance Council' and announced that it discussed follow-up implementation plans and cooperation measures regarding the 'Rationalization Plan for Reconstruction Charges' announced on the 29th of last month.
At this meeting, the Ministry shared detailed information and gathered opinions on the rationale and content of the burden charge calculation and imposition criteria rationalization, adjustment of the start point, public contribution incentives, and long-term single-homeowner reduction system included in the 'Rationalization Plan for Reconstruction Charges.'
Officials from local governments, including Seoul City, evaluated that the contents proposed by local governments had been reflected in this plan and expressed their agreement with the overall direction.
They also agreed that discussions in the National Assembly should proceed promptly and that the improvement plan should be implemented as soon as possible.
Kim Hyo-jung, Director of Housing Policy at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, "We ask for much interest and cooperation in the follow-up process, including legal amendments," and added, "We will actively strengthen communication with local governments to ensure that key tasks for normalizing maintenance projects proceed without any setbacks."
Meanwhile, the Housing Maintenance Council is a forum for discussion and cooperation with local governments during the implementation of tasks to normalize maintenance projects. The chairperson is the Director of Housing Policy at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the members consist of the head of the Housing Maintenance Division and department heads in charge from 17 metropolitan cities and provinces.
