Changbi Editor School Opens in Seoul... Education on 'Editing, Design, and Promotion'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Changbi School, operated by the publisher Changbi, has opened an Editor School. Department heads and experts from various fields at Changbi serve as instructors to provide training in editing, design, and promotion.
The course runs until December 21. The curriculum covers the entire publishing process, including writing and reviewing publishing proposals, establishing relationships with authors, proofreading and editing according to the characteristics of the Korean language, book design, publishing marketing and promotion, and understanding book copyrights.

The program consists of 12 lectures held every Wednesday. Enrollment is limited to the first fifteen applicants, and the tuition fee is 360,000 KRW. Graduates can receive a full refund of the tuition through support from the Baekbungje Memorial Publishing Culture Promotion Foundation. In the previous Editor School held in Busan, all participants received refunds.
