Pregnant Women’s Day (October 10) is a legally designated commemorative day established to overcome low birth rates by fostering a positive perception of pregnancy and childbirth. The date symbolizes the month of abundance and harvest (October) and the pregnancy period (10 months).
On October 4th, a professional instructor was invited to hold a prenatal education class in the multipurpose room of the health center, where 10 pregnant women made attachment dolls themselves.
Additionally, an event called “Proudly Sharing Our Baby’s Nickname” was prepared.
To participate, pregnant women (registered with the Yeongyang County Public Health Center) can access the Naver Office link sent via text message, write their baby’s nickname, its meaning, and story, and submit it by October 14. The first 30 participants will receive a gift (waterproof pad).
